CSA 2008!!

Hello everyone!!! Greetings from Sol Food Farm! We are excited to inform you that the greenhouse is up and we are well on our way to a fabulous season full of yummy vegetables. The winter has been great and everyone has had plenty of rest and relaxation. We all went down to a farming conference in January. Leo and I came in second place in the talent show. We sang Dolly Parton and brought the house down. We were fierce competitors and you all would have been proud of your farmers. How the guy beat us singing a song about worms we will never know, but anyways we’ve let that go. Leo and Andy have made their way back east to their new home in New York’s Hudson Valley. Andy is starting up a new farming project and Leo is apprenticing on an orchard. Brian, our new farmer, has now fully moved in with his two lovely dogs. He is great and we all love him.
We are excited for the markets and the CSA to start. The main CSA starts the first week of June, and runs for 25 weeks which is the week before Thanksgiving. The CSA will run the same as last year with a new pick your own garden added. All those interested please be in touch. I believe we are going to have lots of folks in the CSA this year! We were in the paper!!! The Russian River Monthly did an article on CSAs and we got our picture in there! My eyes are closed, but other than that it’s great!
Feel free to come over and say hi and we hope everyone is well. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Call us at 874-2300 or email us at solfoodfarm@gmail.com with any questions about the CSA. Sign up now!
Thanks,
Brandon.
